New Head of Chartering

Expanding global activity now leads to Torben Maigaard Nielsen joining Monjasa Group headquarters in Fredericia, Denmark as new Head of Chartering.

I have followed Monjasa’s remarkable development at first hand through my past employment and I’m excited to become a new team member.

Torben Maigaard Nielsen is a proficient chartering manager and becomes responsible for the entire Monjasa fleet of approx. 30 vessels. He comes from a long-term leading position at Nordic Tankers/Herning Shipping, who specialises in global shipping of oil and chemical products. Torben will play a leading role in realising Monjasa’s ambition of business excellence across all company units.

Torben’s vast experience with chartering operations covers 14 years at Nordic Tankers/Herning Shipping and 7 years at A.P. Moller – Maersk Group working in both Denmark and the United States.
