New CFO joins Monjasa Holding

Monjasa has appointed Kenneth Henriks, 48, as new Group CFO. Henriks will assume his role with the company as of 9 March 2015. Henriks has developed his career within the global conglomerate A.P. Moller-Maersk in the past 30 years.

He has served as CFO at Maersk Line, Vice President for A.P. Moller-Maersk and his most recent role has been CFO of Maersk Oil in Qatar. He has returned to Denmark to join Monjasa’s group management in Fredericia.

Anders Østergaard, CEO at Monjasa Holding, highlights that Henriks is an accomplished individual and brings with him solid experience from the industry’s heavyweight. He continues: ‘One of the main tasks this year is to lift the organisation that has been built over the past years’ extensive growth – and Kenneth possesses the right qualifications for this role.’

Henriks looks forward to the challenges ahead:‘Compared to Maersk, Monjasa is a young company that has displayed rapid growth in the past decade. As the new Group CFO, it will be my responsibility to consolidate and strengthen the organisation further. Monjasa has to continue with a healthy growth and I am very much looking forward to be part of this journey.’

Heartfelt thank-you to resigning CFO, Michael Ebsen

Henriks will be taking over Monjasa’s current CFO, Michael Ebsen, who has been working with Monjasa since 2007.

Jan Jacobsen, CEO at Monjasa Holding, points out that Michael Ebsen has been an integral part of the company and that he and Østergaard are deeply grateful for his tremendous efforts in connection with the growth and development that the company has experienced over the past years.

Jacobsen adds: ‘Michael will continue his career in the accountancy sector and we wish him all the best in his new job.’
