Five years in the US – and more to come!

Monjasa celebrates five years of business in the American oil and shipping industry. Today, our market approach remains unchanged; bringing new solutions to the table and demonstrating ourselves as a fresh and different trading partner in a historically well-consolidated bunker market with high entry barriers.

Since establishing our trading office in Stamford, CT during 2011, we have devoted our attention to engage into trustful new business partnerships. As of 2016, it is our desire to further accelerate this process.

Today, our market approach remains unchanged; bringing new solutions to the table and demonstrating ourselves as a fresh and different trading partner in a historically well-consolidated bunker market with high entry barriers.

“In the near future, our US office is bound to further penetrate the local market and develop our reselling capabilities in this area. In order to heightening our US market share, we will be looking to further strengthening our organisation. We already have an experienced team of bunker traders in place in the US and now it is time to further develop this solid platform,” says Juan Carlos Charris, General Manager for Monjasa Inc.

Monjasa participates at the CMA Shipping 2016

Again, this year we are proud to be an official part of Connecticut Maritime Association 2016 (CMA Shipping 2016), which is North America’s most recognised international shipping trade conference and exhibition. The event is taking place at the Stamford Hilton Hotel on 21-23 March 2016.

Celebrating five years in US with open house event

Besides meeting with clients and business partners during the CMA 2016, we have engaged with local based non-profit organisation, Young Shipping Professionals New York (YSPNY) to become an active social partner during the conference days, too.

Therefore, Monjasa is hosting an open house party and serves refreshments and snacks at our office located at 700 Canal Street on 22 March 2016 at 7:00 PM.
